SignCo? Yes, we are still here!
We thought that we’d do a quick update to let you know what’s being going on during these strange times.

There’s good news and not so good news so let’s start with the latter…
We had big plans for March and were hoping to relaunch using our new brand but work on this was delayed. We are almost there (post about that coming soon).
A lot of work has been delayed due to capacity. Our work is mostly done on a voluntary basis and working from home, whilst also looking after little people, has been quite a challenge for some of us!
As a result of Covid 19, the funding landscape changed. Many funders focussed on existing businesses that needed to pivot or for new short-term projects which were directly related to the pandemic.
And here’s the good news…
Web development has been progressing well and our new look website is almost ready to go!
Lots of work has been done on our policies and procedures. This is important work as having these in place means we will be ready to become operational.
We have had some other successes in the past three months and will report on these when we can.
The future…
The pandemic, whilst a challenge, has also highlighted further that new ways of working are needed which support and involve communities, balance inequalities, safeguard the important delivery of services and give workers and communities better conditions.
A new and better economy that works for all is needed and co-operatives are part of this movement. SignCo will be known as something else soon but our ethos remains the same. Community led interpreting services bringing value to health and social care across Merseyside… coming soon.
