Steve Hudson
About me
Since 2019, I have been an NRCPD Registered Lipspeaker (with or without supporting signs). This means that I can work with deaf, deafened, hard of hearing people and those with a hearing loss who use their own voice and use few/no signs. In addition, I have been an NRCPD Registered Sign Language Interpreter (RSLI) for over 15 years. I can also be contacted for bookings requiring Sign Supported English (SSE)/English Interpreting The different domains I work in are quite diverse, such as: - remote/online interpreting using platforms such as Zoom or MS Teams etc - professional (eg: office support, interviews, appraisals and large or small meetings) - training courses (both informal and those which are mandatory or lead to professional qualifications) - Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans (LGBT+) events - theatre, both on-stage/performance interpreting and backstage (eg: rehearsals, backstage tours, production meetings) - galleries, museums and heritage venues (eg: tours working with a hearing or a Deaf presenter) - community (eg: medical, parent teacher meetings) When not interpreting online, I usually work across Greater London and SE England. Further afield and international can be considered.
