Signalise joins more Public Sector Frameworks for Interpreting and Translation

Jennifer Bird • Nov 7, 2025 • 3 min read

We’re proud to announce that Signalise is now approved on two national NHS frameworks and one local framework:

  • NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) Interpretation and Translation Framework
  • HealthTrust Europe (HTE) Framework for Total Language Solutions II
  • Northamptonshire Children's Trust here

These frameworks make it easier for NHS and public sector organisations across the UK to access our specialist British Sign Language (BSL) services and technology under specific lots.

Innovative, accessible and trusted

Our platform combines the latest technology - booking portal, video interpreting (on-demand and pre-booked) and real-time confirmations - with a near 100% fulfilment rate and proven reliability. We ensure staff can provide full accessibility for Deaf users while reducing cancellations and costs.

Streamlined service delivery

We’re known for being prompt, responsive and reliable, ensuring interpreters are confirmed quickly and appointments run smoothly — avoiding disruption to clinical schedules. With missed hospital appointments costing the NHS an average of £160 each, our approach helps protect budgets and improve patient flow.

Local focus, national reach

As a co-operative social enterprise, we reinvest in our communities and work collaboratively with NHS partners. Our regional approach builds strong local relationships, helps reduce health inequalities and gets more value for the public sector.

Tailored to your needs

These frameworks allow for bespoke local requirements such as fill rates, qualifications and travel costs - ensuring every service meets local priorities and staff and patient needs. They also allow for direct awards.

Collaboration across languages

We’re also partnering with Migrant Help (Clear Voice) to support their service with British Sign Language, offering a joined-up approach across interpreting and translation service provision.

“Signalise’s place on these new frameworks enable organisations to access our unique and specialist services more efficiently - improving access, reducing health inequalities and ensuring streamlined, more cost-effective service provision for staff and patients alike.” Jen Bird, Signalise
